Did anyone else hear about the Grizzly that was killed by a car the other night? I guess the guy hit him in the middle of the night and saw the bear limp off of the road. He didn’t get out of his car to investigate. Probably a wise decision to not get out and administer first aid.

Yeah I read about that in the local paper. It happened around 2:00 am near Fountain Paint Pot drive. A visitor to the park found the bear dead in a ditch. The bear management team came and got it to dispose of it. It was a big bear around 400lbs.

Can you imagine hitting something like that? Unbelievable.

I’d like to see the damage the car had. You can’t hit something that weighs 400+ lbs and not get a dent.
